Welcome
Kia Orana, Malo e lelei , Fakaalofa lahi atu, Talofa lava, Ni sa bula vinaka, Halo olaketa, Namaste, Tēnā koutou, Kia ora, Aloha, Ia Orana, warm Pacific greetings, thank you for visiting Woven.
The peoples of Te Moana Nui A Kiwa – the great ocean of Kiwa, the Pacific – have a unique, rich and courageous heritage.
Unique because unlike most other parts on this earth which were populated by people walking there, the great ocean of Kiwa could only be explored and populated by people who invented special technologies and acquired highly specialised skills to traverse its mighty ocean swells.
Rich because in making the Pacific our home our ancestors have handed down great stories of their journeys and an oral history with signposts as to how to traverse and settle, and not only survive, but to thrive on the biggest body of water on the planet.
And it took great courage and faith and special people, to set out into the vast unknown; while other peoples seldom ventured out of sight of their homelands.
Our tipuna became just as at home on the ocean as they were on the relatively tiny specks of land they built their houses and grew their crops on.
They are without doubt the greatest navigators the world has known.
Woven is a company of the Pacific and for the Pacific. Woven offers an agency approach to proactively managing the delivery of communications to their clients.
Its principals starting with Director Jaewynn McKay are Pacific people, descendants of those early navigators.
Drawing on a considerable history of working in the Pacific, Woven has wide networks amongst Pacific communities.
